My son attended this preschool for two years and we were very happy. They spend at least 2 hours a day playing outside in nature rain or shine, which is very important for children this age. He naps for at least two hours after he gets back home!
Tracey, their teacher, practices a very positive and encouraging kind of discipline which teaches the kids about emotional intelligence and communication with each other to solve problems and negotiate together. She is also very energetic and loving and inspires the kids to enjoy nature and good food! they often make bread together and Tracey provides all organic and natural snacks and lunch for them.
Their easy going spirit makes this a wonderful neighborhood initiative and the potlucks with other parents truly build community.
We are excited that our son was a part of the Woodsong community and recommend it fully.
If you would like your child to be exposed to an energetic, positive woman, Tracey Gramenz, of Woodsong Childcare has a special gift engaging with children. My son is 22 months old and he comes home with new enthusiasm with every visit. She has helped him come out of his shell. She has tremendous energy wrapped in love and an educated understanding of each child’s individual needs. I love that she speaks Spanish as well for part of the day!
Tracey has watched my 3 year old son regularly. As soon as we met her, my husband and I thought “oh, yeah, this is exactly who we want for our son!”. We were not disappointed. She is sweet, caring, loving, and FUN! they go outside and get dirty! This is one thing I really love, my son comes home obviously having been outside all day – hair full of sand, dirt on the clothes – and I mean this in the best possible way – and a giant smile on his face. I also love that I can trust that she is feeding him healthy organic food, which is important to us. Her easy, fun loving personality is such an obvious, perfect fit for children.
